Response from Shaykh Babikr Ahmed Babikr

Dear brothers and sisters, it appears that we have a response from Shaykh Babikr Ahmed Babikr’s brother in law in regards to him being an advisor to the Quilliam Foundation. It is quite apparent that these phonies have misappropriated his name and names of others for their spurious agenda. Anyways, below is the comment of the brother. We hope that he will return to us with the news that the Shaykh spoke to QF and will remove his name immediately.

ASA
Skeikh Babikar is my brother in law and I spoke to him today about this very matter, Ed hussain approached the sheikh a matter of months ago to ask him to become an advisor to their group. The sheikh having no knowledge of Ed hussain or his group said he would consider it but only after researching their agenda.
The sheikh was extremely shocked when I informed him that his name appears on hussain’s site and he is now taking steps to having it removed.

May Allah strengthen our resolve to expose hussain and his cronies for all they are worth.

Saeed

JUST wanted to point you to this:

JUST shows the hypocrisy even more – isn’t their “open challenge” to HT on their website, and yet they can’t show up on a radio show for fear of being exposed

Can we just get a statement from the Sheikh? I doubt that the QF site will change in a hurry!

    Salam,

It seems that the brother we were in contact with has disappeared. If you personally know anyone who has contact with the Shaykh please do help. We are hoping and have heard that other advisers are contemplating taking their names off. Make dua.

They have probably delayed removing the names until after they have sent out their foundation videos to give the impression they still have support to anyone who visits their website

    Typical dishonesty

thats the problem with some scholars. Why not check the backround of those who you are associating yourself with? Even the people around him should of known better.

Actually I have spoken to Shaykh Ahmed Ba’bikr (Abu Bakr as-Sudani) personally and he affirmed that he is an advisor to Ed and the Quilliam Foundation but does so in private- he rather that this not be made mention of in public domain to all.

This is due to hikmah, the fact that if such info. of support becomes public then those that are strongly opposed may wish to insult him also thus publicly it is to be denied.
