Introduction to the site-مقاصد

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of All the Worlds. May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his family and Companions.


Maqasid is an attempt to share ideas, concepts, and Islamic knowledge. The author will translate and post articles that are primarily relevant to the Islamic students of Knowledge, and also to the general readers.

About the Author:

Abdullah Hasan graduated with an Imam Diploma and BA in Islamic Studies from the European College for Islamic Studies ( Wales ). He holds a diploma in Arabic from Zarqa Private University ( Jordan ) and studied with the Scholars of Jordan including Shaykh Ahmad Hawwa [son of the late Scholar Syed Hawwa , Syria ], Jamal Ud Din Basha as well as attending private classes of Shaykh Mashur Hasan Salman and others. He is a member of the European Assembly of Imams and Spiritual Guides. Currently, he is the Imam [Khateeb] of U.K.I.M Mosque in Euston Square, and also pursuing MSc in Counselling Psychology, focusing on youth counselling.

    I was wondering if any one had a chance to reasearch the Khurrasan’s history in 1845, Iran.

    I read the black flag was risen for the coming of the new Day.

    Can any one make a common on this?
